I was wanting to wait until our group became a little more mature before adding it to this august company, but I suppose there's no time like the present...

Novae Militiae is dedicated to portraying English military men from the years 1189-1216 as accurately as possible. For more details, pictures, a rough outline of our standards, etc. please see our website at www.novae-militiae.com .

Also, though some of us have been trying to do this for three or four years, I still consider our group VERY young with a VERY long way to go, so please know that WE know most all the problems present in the pictures. But, as I constantly tell my wife Pris: "Authenticity is a journey, not a destination"

Thanks,

Glen Kyle

Brendan,

It is, more or less, but we haven't been to any major events in some time. We went through a stage where we all wanted to do secular, and the last time we all talked I think we're starting to sneak back into the Templar mindset. If you're interested and local, please feel free to drop me a line!

I'm afriad I'm far from local, Glen But my society, Conquest, also cover your era. if you want to get in contact, take a look at our website at: http://www.angevin.org/

Hope our joint societies might be able to bounce some ideas around
