Hi
There is a possibility(fingers crossed) that I will be studying reconstructed medieval sites in Europe from the end of july to september 2010. i have made a list of sites i will be visiting and studying and have started arrangements. however are there any big events on that be of interest/ would blow the mind of an antipodean medieval re enactor? Any suggestions are welcomed but i have to put in a suggested itinerary by the end of the week. unfortunately it is a bit of a rush as i only just found out i was eligable to apply for this.
cheers
damien

Hi Damien,

2010? Some groups might have event dates, others might be in the process.

Contact the Company of St. George. I'm sure that there are quite a few things going on. They may also know what's going on in other areas as well.

Company of St. George

This is for Tewkesbury 2009 in the UK.Tewkesbury

Check the re-enactment directory for European groups and see if they have event listings near the places you will be visiting. Send them an email with an introduction and see if they might be willing to meet up with you or tell you about local events.

hope that helps,

Jenn
