Why doesnt whoever started teh Insurance umbrella group get everyone's phone numbers or get on "skype" or some other software for a meeting and ge the gal-darned thing hashed out?? I thought they were going with my wording on the insurance groups' prerequisites? What is still lacking? Are there questions on the policy still? I think they ought to go with what they have got for this year and whoever wants in, sign up; who doesnt wait for next years' revisions! Personally I cannot sign up this year, I cant see paying for insurance when I wont be at any events as a participant. But next year I expect my whole family to be going to quite a few events. I dont like seeing you guys having to wait on this another year. As I offered earlier, my fathers' Civ war group has spectacular insurance and if you want I will forward you the info. -Jason -------------------- ~ Jason Banditt Adams Illustrator for the gaming industry www.Rogue-Artist.com "Jancemeijer von Magnus" Organization head, "Magnus Kompanie" Aufgebot Hessen Kassel 1471-1480 www.GothicGermany.org

For what it's worth, I'm good friends with the person who is coordinating the insurance dealio, and I assure you that he is doing the best that he can do. He is no slouch, and I think it's safe to say that it is neither his fault, nor the fault of the insurance company, that the event was cancelled for May. From the numbers that I have been quoted, the group insurance is a spectacular deal. I hope that everything can be worked out, and that the event will happen for June. Unfortunately, it will probably be too late in my pregnancy to make the trip, but hopefully some other Grey's members will make it out. Cheers, Charlotte

No problem. I suppose that Calais being canceled this week is a good thing. Considering the rain is expected to continue, though not like it was the other day. 13" of water! Right now, I'm looking out the window and the sun is shining and the skies blue, but it won't last for long. We've left a message for the event property owner, so we're still hoping to hold the event sometime this summer. But I'm just wondering what events we'll conflict with. -------------------- ad finem fidelis
