It is official, we have the site for the weekend of the 21-22 of May, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, with Monday for those late leavers. I will try to get the Monday or at least half of it as an event day as well.Horses (numbers within reason) are welcome, and we will be better prepared facility wise to handle them. -------------------- Bob R.

The temps were in the 40s-50s at night. It rained, and then the sun came out and it warmed up. New England can be a little unpredictable. Bring layers: blankets, clothing layers etc... Wool is HIGHLY recommended. Jenn -------------------- ad finem fidelis

New England has a reputation for be "unpredictable" and that the weather can change at any moment. So be prepared.Blankets, perhaps a brazier to help keep the tent dry on the inside or at least warm...just in case. And this year, we will definitely make sure that "our lady of the blue waters" is present. -------------------- ad finem fidelis

Okay folks,Here is a basic idea of the activities being planned. 1 or 2 tacticals, one Saturday, and one Sunday - Senarios to be discussed with the officers of each group attending. We need to begin doing this now Civilians may be included if they so desire, and we have enough attending. Civilian activities - this year we have a person devoted to organising this aspect. 1 or 2 period competitions, one definitely being an archery competition, hopefully complete with appropriate prize 1 bit of experimental archaeology involving archery, or massed archery. 1 bit of experimental archaeology baking in a brick and clay oven And anything else you can suggest, or would like to see. We should have at least 2 horses attending this year, and have appropriate anti-coyote-'stampede' deterant. -------------------- Bob R.
