Hi All,

For those of you not affiliated with a group, but would like to come, here is a basic guideline for acceptable kit. Feel free to ask questions, we will help you in any way we can if you would like to participate.

All clothing must be in period appropriate materials (Wool or Linen)
It may be machine sewn but try and keep exposed machine sewn seams to a
minimum.
All participants should have leather(no suede) shoes styled after
turnshoes.
Men must wear atleast a 15thcentury style doublet out of wool or linen
15th century style hosen made out of wool (either bias cut or
jersey)
a 15th century style hat
Women must wear atleast a 15th century style kirtle and dress made of
linnen or wool
Bring a strip of white linen 1/2 a yard wide by two or three
yards long
for a headwrap

Armour and weapons must be of recognizable 15th century pattern.
Butted mail is acceptable so long as link ID does not exceed 7/16"
Covered stainless is acceptable but visible stainless is discouraged.
No aluminum

Other recommended equipment
wooden bowl
wooden or pewter spoon
15thcentury style mug or drinking vessel

Modern equipment should be non-visible and kept to a minimum:
for example, insoles in turnshoes is fine, nylon bivy tent is not.

Camping equipment
wool blanket and linen sheet works best but if you feel the need to
bring a modern sleeping bag or an air mattress please bring a wool
blanket or linen sheet to cover it when not sleeping.
If you have a historical canvas tent, even if post medieval, please
bring it, otherwise we will find space for you in one of the tents, or
if the weather is nice we can sleep outside under the stars.
