my research has begun to take two paths and I need help sorting them out. Either highland scots dressed more in common with the irish or they were not that unlike the english (except maybe 50 odd years out of date). I have had both suggested to me and while each sounds plausible, I would like cast the net abit wider as it were. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?

Try here: www.gaddgedlar.com

Look at the bit on the side and click on Bannockburn 2003, when you get there scroll to the bottom and click on the kit guide.

Check out this topic on the Armour Archive:

David Teague posted some drawings based on his research into the subject, the Scots are not as barbaric as most think, even highlanders.

The works that David referenced were from the Gaddgedlar website, the society of which I am president/chimp in charge, but the research was done by others in the group such as Lindsay Webster and Alan Gault.

Sorry my mistake, I thought David or one of his guys did the art. I do art like this for my group so I made a bad assumption.
