Scott

I am sure with how good 03 went that we will hold another this year, but it is a September event. Gives you plenty of time to get a 15th century kit together

Are we certain that the date will be in September? I need to decide soon whether to commit to something else the first weekend of October - I'd rather go to PP tho, if they are the same weekend.

In talking with Jeff Johnson, I believe the date of Pastonpalooza is being moved to November.

The question arises - is there going to be one in 2005? If the answer is yes, some sort of notification needs to be given out now (unless it's a private affair, and the rest of us aren't invited), if the answer is no, then we need to know that information as well, to see if another event can't be planned by someone else for the Fall, before it's too late.

Speaking of Canadian groups, where in Canada is Martin going to live? Can we coerce him into coming down?

Martin - hope your move is going well!

Hi Charlotte,

Martin hasn't gotten to his new digs yet. I believe he an his wife are visiting relatives out in B.C. before they head to the East coast. I think he they are moving to Toronto.

He said he'd touch base as soon as he was settled.

Speaking as the guy who honcho'd the last one, I'm 90% sure there will be a Fall event. Yup, it's time to begin initial stages of planning it & Chuck/Wolf has started moving that ball.

I understand October isn't the best time for Paston, for the Northern Contingent. Is that all of October? What about the end of September? We're all leaning away from November - the weather is usually pretty cold, and I know that I, for one, don't want to camp in the cold with a little baby.

Are there any major conflicts the weekend of September 24th, or October 4th? What about October 15th?

Cheers,
Charlotte

First 3 weekends of October is generally not a problem for us up north, although the first Saturday is our scheduled presentations at Higgins.

Last year was an exception for me due to work. November makes it hard for me personally as that is the pre-game start for the retail holiday season.

The ARS convention is the weekend of Oct 21-24. Bob is planning on attending.

First weekend is our Higgy gig. However, with enough advanced notice, we can change it.

Bob also had work issues last year and the year before that it was Hurricane season and we didn't want to drive down during a monsoon.
