Hi there,

I'm looking for all kind of groups which either concentrate on the 14th century or do also display this time.
I'm especially eager to find french and english groups- seems as if there are not so many.

Some I know:
German, Astria, Schwitzerland:
Interessengemeinschaft Mensch im Mittelalter e.V.
Goedendag 1340-1360
Historia Peregrini
Historiavivens 1300
Elvelüüt Hamborch
Ca.1310
Company of Elefant (1400 based)

Skandinavian, Dutch, etc:
Margretes frie lanser
De Liebaart 1302
Kongshirden 1308

Italy:
Compagnia di Porta Giovia

US,English:
Charles Fleming 1346AD
The Company of Chivalery 1370

Suggesstions, Additions?

Hi Jens,

Gesellschaft des Elefanten is an Italian group that is based in the Italian, but german speaking province, of south Tirol.

Concerning other groups:
You may have missed my latest contribution to this thread. There is a current discussion going on in our group what our future website should look like. So no worries about it being a bit basic and crappy at this moment.
Other groups that I know of are

Carnis (http://www.carnis.org)
Berwelf (http://www.berwelf.de)
Ulrich von Starkenberg (http://www.starkenberg.it)

The Copmagnie du Chalise (English-speaking)
http://www.mediumaevum.com/chalice/

The contact information on that site is wrong, it should be the.company (at) mron.org

Also add Redshield 1391 ( http://www.redshield-1391.org/ )

John
Jehan de Pelham, esquire (1370-1400 English in France)
Jehan de Pelham, esquire and servant of Sir Vitus

By the way Jens,

On your webpage in the links section the Soldeniers are still mentioned as a group. But this group has been disbanded in the autumn of 2004. Deventer Burgerscap was formed at this time by a few old Soldeniers members (the more authenticity minded) and some new people.

Order of the Boar in New Zealand. Concentrates on recreating a retinue of the second half of the 14th century, doing the tournament circuit in Europe. Equestrian centred.

Oh hi Alan, nice to read from a member of that group. I cannot say how often I posted the link to your group's webpage to teach some german kilt wearers about what scotsmen wore in teh 14th century *g*
Order of the bear looks nice, especially nice to see both good reenactment quality and tournament experience combined.

Btw. are there images of this year's Bannockburn event? Plans for next year? I've just found a thread mentioning that the RA in Leeds now do the orga stuff.

I would find it quite interesting to participate, perhaps reenacting that charging german knight whose head was cut in half by bruce's axe...uhh perhaps better not *g*

A little bit off-topic:

From December 2nd to Dezember 4th
there will be a 14th century reenactors meeting at Dorsten Germany. Just in case there are german reenactors reading here, or anybody of you is in germany during this time

Information can be found at the german 14th century living history mailinglist: http://de.groups.yahoo.com/group/14jahrhundert/
or send a mail for information to fipse@compuserve.com
or look at http://www.tempus-vivit.net/tempus-vivit/taverne/thread.php?tid=2526&action=addvisit&from=46#neu

Any 14th century groups in Northern Utah in the Ogden area?

I just got a teaching job at a local University and am looking to keep in reenactment but would prefer to not do it just me.

So if anyone is around here and interested or knows of a group let me know!
