greetings. i like the picture of your household . i was wondering if the coats your people are wearing are doublets or short coats they look longer &better than the doublet.? if you don't mind saying did you make or buy them ? if bought where thank-you : : :

We had a local woman make them.

I think the proper technical term for them is "Gowns". If you look at period art, a lot of men wear one over their doublet. Usually, they are shorter - just a tad longer than the doublet. Rich or scholarly folk tend to have very long ones - like robes.
