Just out of curiosity I was checking my local ordances. Found some interesting facts.

Sorta makes you want to stand just outside the city limits and shoot arrows at a target, doesn't it?

Leave it to some idiot on the city council to refer to a sword as a DANGEROUS TOY.

I'm sorry, Swords are NOT toys, nor are any of the other weapons listed.

*sigh*

screwballs...now THOSE are dangerous toys..

Some knucklehead can get an eye put out throwing one of those around.

Odd the ordinances didn't mention firearms.

...Speaking of "dangerous toys", what about the BMW's and Merc's the Lawyers are driving around, or one of those steel behemoth Caddy Escalade or some such piece of ridiculous?

They did mention firearms in detail. Everything is bad cept for black powder. And yes, even cannons are OK. hmmmm... maybe I found a new hobby? I wonder how well this will go over with my wife. "Sorry honey, both of your lemonwood bows and my ash and my hickory bows have to go. Plus don't forget to throw out all of my swords, daggers, staff weapons, and that kitchen knife I made you while we were courting. Sorry honey you would have to be in law inforcement and only be able to use it in police work. Oh and I've had to rethink starting up my shop in the summer. Maybe I can sell very expensive scabbards with a complimentary bonus surprise gift to put inside it? But I have good news. We can build a cannon!"
