Author Topic: 14th and 15th cen medieval encampment Mike Mercier Member Member # 821 posted 01-30-2006 06:48 PM                   I am trying to make my demos and shows a little more authentic this coming faire season and I want to have a small medieval encampment. I portray mid 14th century to early 15th century Italian mercenary and I am trying to find out what an authentic overnight encampment might look like. If an overnight tent was to be used, what would it look like. Would it be like a modern military pup-tent? I would assume nothing elaborate. What sort of bedding would be used? I can make stuff up with the fire and cooking, but if I stay overnight I want to have something a little more authentic that a bright green 2 man Eureka! Thanks everyone!
