There is no ISBN to that book as it was published specially for the 500year celebration of the siege of Neuss. I have a copy of it but they are very rare as there where not that many printed.

Sorry no that has from the German side the most complete account of the events dealing with the siege as in that book there are also lots of original documents shown and translated into modern German, and also a lot of amusing little episodes that happend during the siege which official chronicles tend to drop beneith the table.
Martin

I can try and photocopy the book but it is pretty thick and it will take time.

Im sure photocopying the book would be a monumental undertaking! If you would care to do that, I would be in your debt.

Thank you,

Hi Jason, it's Jenn,

There are about 15 copies available through http://www.addall.com/used

Title search: Neuss, Burgund und das Reich

All the copies are in Germany, but if you want it, that would be the place to order it.

Well it is a must have for all those interested in the siege of Neuss, doing either a display of Burgundy or the Holy Roman Empire.

Hi Martin,

I know, that's why I finally picked up a copy for Bob for Christmas. (He already knows, so I'm not letting anything slip in a public forum.

He can read German better than he can speak it.

Ok, as if there wasnt enough for me to be jealous of Bob already! lol

Wheres a good place to get good lessons on learning German? Ive been trying to teach myself for 4 years now and Im nt getting very far. I dont live in Pittsburgh anymore, we moved to Ohio, so just general places or intitutions like colleges are good starts I guess.

Colleges and Universities. Community colleges. Pimsuleur Language tapes.

Another option is to start trying to use some of the basics and writing to folks like Martin in German or joining a language list to get help.
