Hi EveryoneJust to plug the event I am organising again this year, Ridders van de Haar. www.riddertoernooi.nl This is the 3rd year I have organised it, this year we are getting 8 knights for the jousting and a couple of Hundred re-enactors for tent camp and small battle (skirmish) display. Pictures from the previous events can be found on the website, There is a section in English, although it has less information on it than the Dutch section. And I'm jousting there! Casteel deHaar truly is a spectacular edifice and definitely worth a visit. Thomas, if you can make it over, if there's room in whatever accommodation Joram can provide (since I won't be able to bring any myself), you can stay with me and be my squire. I don't have one currently. We can talk about it at the Easter team jousts in Leeds. You'll be there to squire for me, right?

Wow. Nice place and great lineup. The idea of crossing to the old continent and break some lances in an international tournament is getting more and more persistent. You will probably see me there someday soon. Cheers. Steve [ 02-02-2006: Message edited by: de Croy ]
