Hi Everyone

Just to plug the event I am organising again this year, Ridders van de Haar.

www.riddertoernooi.nl

This is the 3rd year I have organised it, this year we are getting 8 knights for the jousting and a couple of Hundred re-enactors for tent camp and small battle (skirmish) display. Pictures from the previous events can be found on the website, There is a section in English, although it has less information on it than the Dutch section.

Cheers
Joram

I was chatting to Bertus about it last night and it sounds great fun. Got any spare tents

And I'm jousting there! Casteel deHaar truly is a spectacular edifice and definitely worth a visit.

Thomas, if you can make it over, if there's room in whatever accommodation Joram can provide (since I won't be able to bring any myself), you can stay with me and be my squire. I don't have one currently.

We can talk about it at the Easter team jousts in Leeds. You'll be there to squire for me, right?

Wow. Nice place and great lineup.

The idea of crossing to the old continent and break some lances in an international tournament is getting more and more persistent. You will probably see me there someday soon.

Cheers.
Steve

Yup, i'll be there in Easter.

I was talking over the prices of flights with Bertus and it sounds very reasonable. Though, i do lack tentage...

Thoman, Joram says he'll be providing a tent big enough for you and Jeff, so please plan to be there. I'll bring your doublet and shoes back to England with me next week so you'll have all your kit. let me know if there's anything else you need beyond what you already have.

Jeff will be in touch when he gets back from Taupo.

Gwen
