We also offer our pleated gown in wool. Here it is in a berry coloured wool with a plain, tapered sleeve (no slit). This type of sleeve is often seen in Froissart-

Model is Rob Martin, who is wearing the gown over a red mahoitred doublet. The gown is lined in black linen.

Hi Gwen,

That looks awesome! Quick question, are the pleats actually sewn in place or held in place by the belt.

Thanks,

Db

The pleats are stitched but the belt makes them lay flat.

It's the same style as your coat Bob, it was just brought to my attention that it was unclear whether I offered it in a less 'posh' fabric than yours-

True, but mine have the slits and can be rolled.

Oh, I thought this was your coat. Hmmmm, I guess it must be Dom's then. Yours is made of this fabric though, right?

My mistake, it was Dom's coat and not Bobs-

Hi Gwen,

Mine is a similar fabric, but different, Same style of chenille (thats the stuff, right?) but different pattern. I'll have Jenn post a picture of me wearing it at the Higgins.

I just realized I have this coat hanging in the closet, so if anyone's interested I could send it out immediately.

*BSD stock Small (40" chest/34" waist)
*Berry wool blend lined with black linen
*Tapered sleeves, no slit
*No machine stitching on exterior (maybe none on the interior as well, I'd have to look)
*Closes with hooks center front

Regular $379, Special $299*

(Only because it's been hanging in the closet for a year and it's a small size for the US market)

Please direct enquiries to gwen@historicenterprises.com

Thanks!
