We’re offering a new gown set!

Long sleeved 15th C. gown set

The recent paper on “Will the Real 15th C. Sleeve Please Stand Up” points out how often this type of long sleeved undergown/short sleeved overgown arrangement is seen in 15th C. artwork, yet how disproportionately seldom it is seen in reenactment. In keeping with my policy to make every effort to supply what reenactors need and want, I’m pleased to offer a long sleeved undergown/short sleeved overgown set.

With the recent carbon dating of the G39 gown to 1420-1530, it seems the perfect long sleeved gown to pair with our short sleeved 15th C. gown. This arrangement produces the layered look seen in The Hours of Marguerite d’Orleans, and other works from the period.

The set contains a long sleeved, laced front undergown with button cuff; laced front overgown with short sleeves, and a simple smock. Overgowns are available in wool or linen, and the smock is off-white linen.

This 3 piece collection would cost $378.85 if purchased separately. Sold as a set, I’m value pricing it at $359.95, for a savings of $18.90. As an added bonus, I will include a winged “Flemish” coif (value $22.95) FREE! That’s a total savings of $41.85.
