I just finished my PhD in Medieval history and archeology (January 2010). I am now looking for work (yes I hear Tim Curry's voice in my head saying 'bad timing'). I have three articles that are hopefully to be published this year all on medieval military themes.

I lived in California much of my life but spent 2005-2010 living in England, first in York then in Southampton. While in England I was involved with a anglo-saxon/viking group then a fourteenth century archer's company.

At the moment some friends, family and I are working to put together a Scottish knight's retinue/house called Auldburn Household. We are gearing it up to be a living history group, all our gear and history based on historic research. Currently we are working on clothing as the research has more or less been finished. Next stop after that is gear, civil and military then a round of pictures followed by a website.
